Multiplast Powerset 100/200/300/400

Multiplast Powerset 100/200/300/400 are cement accelerators and plasticizers produced from special chemicals, surfactants and other additives and are supplied as a clear to black liquids. Accelerating admixtures Multiplast Powerset can be used to increase either the rate of stiffening or setting of the concrete or the rate of hardening and early strength gain to allow earlier formwork striking and demoulding. Multiplast Powerset accelerators achieve one function at a time, hence can be blended together to gain multiple benefits.

Multiplast Powerset 100, hardening accelerator are most effective at low temperature. Multiplast Powerset accelerators can be used with superplasticisers where early age strength is required, especially at lower temperatures.

In the cold weather the prime use of set accelerators is to control the setting time of floor slabs in cold weather as extended setting time delays finishing and power-trowelling. They are also used to reduce the risk of damage to concrete by freezing when concreting in cold weather and to allow the earlier removal of formwork.

Concrete containing an accelerator will set faster than the equivalent plain concrete. The reduction in setting time is typically 1–2 hours but is affected by accelerator type, dose and temperature.

Multiplast Powerset 100 is restricted and most suited to unreinforced concrete, paver blocks, flyash bricks etc. Multiplast Powerset 200/300/400 Accelerators have been used for reinforced concrete structures.

 

Multiplast Powerset 100/200/300/400 accelerate setting and hardening time, increase workability, makes concrete placing easier, hence better compaction and finishing. The products can be mixed together to bet desired properties, along with best economical price to performance ratio.

Multiplast Powerset 100/200/300/400 are water reducing and accelerating admixtures for concrete confirming to BS E N 934 P, art 2: 2001 .IS – 9103: 1999, ASTM C - 494 Type E.
